Hi,
We are a bilingual family. Hiram is American and Sophie is French. We both teach English, and Sophie teaches French as well. We have 3 bilingual children.
We offer an all-inclusive stay: all meals and accommodations, 2H of language instruction a day, French and/or English. You also participate in our family life. We offer different activities and outings, such as: canoe, tennis, painting and sculpting, weaving, calligraphy, swimming at a lake or at the pool, horse riding, etc., all in the language you wish to learn. A home stay at your teacher's house is the best and fastest way to learn a foreign language.
We have created a method for teaching based on games. It allows the student, even beginners, to quickly start speaking. We also offer targeted courses for business or exams, for example.
We accept all levels and all ages.
We'll enjoy having you stay in our family and share our daily activities!

We live in the beautiful countryside of Limousin. It is a peaceful area, it is hilly, has got rivers and lakes (you can swim 10 min away from our house). You can take hikes, canoe, bike, ride horses within minutes. There are many typical villages, among which the medieval Saint Leonard de Noblat 5 min from home. 30 minutes away, you'll find the regional capital of Limoges. 1 hour away, there is a big and renowned lake "Vassiviere" where you can practice nautical sports.
Our house is very spacious and very bright. It stays fresh in hot summer days.
We have a big and beautiful garden, with a big table set outside, under the cherry tree. The view from the house and the garden is beautiful.
You will be enchanted by our spacious and bright house, close to nature, in peace, and where the air smells so good!
