I really like this host family, they care about me. My host mother helps me on my school work when I have questions on work from my classes at Palomar Community College. When I am sick or need help, my host mother is home to help me with medicine or a ride to where I need to go. The train is close and so are the schools. It is also close to good shopping! I have become close with everyone in the family, including the family dog, so I think it is a wise choice.

I lived in this home for one year when I was taking ESL at Mira Costa College. The family was very nice and helped me find an apartment when I I needed to find a cheaper ESL program. My parents were happy that I was safe and cared for and wished that I did not eventually move in with friends. I still Line with them if I need help. I recommend this place.

I like this family because they are so helpful. Host mother's cooking is delicious. They took me to fun places like La Jolla, Bates nut farm, movies, and Disneyland. The room is comfortable, I like the bed and the room is private with a bathroom attached to the bedroom so I don't have to leave my bedroom to get ready in the morning. The family has sons, so I get a lot of chances to speak and practice my English. Also, the train station is by the house and I can go anywhere. They even loaned me a nice bicycle if I want to use it.

I lived with this family for two years while I attended Palomar College. The home is very comfortable, the food is good and the family is very nice. They made me feel like a member of their family. They celebrated my birthday, brought me on fun trips and I played baseball and basketball with the sons. This family helped me with school so I was able to get my dream to transfer into a California State school. I will stay in touch with them.
