We have several rooms available for you to select, mostly at the listed price but with a master bed that can be taken for extra. The master bedroom comes with a private massage tub. There's a lounge area upstairs serving as main social area, where you can chat and have tea and biscuits. Two kitchens are located downstairs and there's another one beside the lounge upstairs.
Wendy, with a Master's degree from Australia, is an experienced English teacher who used to run her own education company, specializing in children and young adult education. Your home stay may benefit from conversing with us in English. She also teaches Mandarin, at the same rate of $50/hr in a formal session. Your per day rate does not include transportation, which can be added at an additional cost. Renting a car in Vancouver is very expensive, at $100, far exceeding the rate in the U.S..

We're very close to Steveston village, a tourist attraction spot in Richmond, which boasts quite some sea food restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, a 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk. There's also a 7-11 around that's about 5 minute walk, selling stuff like milk, soda, chicken kabobs and snacks and very tidy compared to some of the ones I came across in America. There's also a plaza with BC liquor store, Blenz coffee and a Safeway grocery store (with Starbucks) 5 minute drive away.
Driving to Richmond Centre (the train station) takes some 10-15 minutes depending on how you drive and traffic but we can give you a lift at a reasonable rate. Renting a car in Vancouver is expensive, at over $100 per day. Same for lifts to the airport, where there's a newly developed McArthur Glen designer outlet, like those in Europe, with very good selection of Tumi bags and some J-Crew and Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss etc. etc..
