Our home is situated in mountain countryside of Boone, North Carolina. We are living a few miles away from downtown Boone. Appalachian State University is located 12 minutes by car, roughly 40 minutes by walking and bus (may be shorter time depending on request pickup from Appalcart bus system). Since we are located in the country, most things are 15 minutes away by car, probably 30-60 minutes away by bus. On the plus side, our area is quiet, safe and contains natural scenery.
